7 Essential Secrets Of Building Income With SBI Websites Step #3: Getting Clients to stick and getting them back by building a List In this Lesson:
Hello again...is any of this stuff making sense so far? 'Cos before I go on with Step #3, I have a confession to make: Nothing you'll discover in this mini-course is actually new.
Just fill in the form below and you will be taken to the Page with
all the Details of this fantastic event. Well, you don't want to spend your hard-earned money being a pioneer, do you? No, of course not. Why re-invent the wheel, when you can simply copy and do what's worked elsewhere, right? Right! Because Remember - Pioneers come home full of arrows! So, for very good reasons, nothing you'll discover in this course is new. It's ALL been proven to work, by thousands of small business owners, all over the world. In fact, in business, if I never have another new idea in my life, I'll be delighted, because I'm only interested in what's already been proven to work. I don't want to spend my money experimenting, and neither should you. So, having said that, let's get on with it... In Lesson #1 we talked about using Keyword Research to Stand in the way of existing traffic to ensure you get a high flow of traffic once your site it up and running. But what about hanging onto the people who come to your site as visitors and making them into clients? One of the Top Ten mistakes most business owners make is Not Building A List both online and offline. Your name and address list (on or offline) is like your farm. You plant the seeds, water the budding plants carefully, fertilize the ground with nutrients such as special offers, Client Appreciation events, great relevant information and so on... And if you do it right, you'll only ever lose a client for one of TWO reasons. Inconveniently, people do DIE. Okay, there's not a lot you can do about that. (Oh, but if you ever do find a way of preventing death, let me know. I'd love to be your manager!) The only other method of losing a client that you can't do much about is when she moves to another state or country. Sorry scub that - now you are online that does not count any more!!! So there is now only one reason to loss a client. If you only ever lost a client for that one reason, you'd be in good shape, wouldn't you? But the SAD TRUTH ABOUT LOSING CLIENTS is that most
businesses lose clients
because they never asked them to stay!
Or join or
whatever! So the poor business owner - in this case, that's you - continues to spend big $$$$s and time building a site, advertising to attract new clients - yes, expensive Google, Yahoo, MSN and even Offline advertising and Loads of writing great info - just to PLUG THE HOLES IN THE BUCKET! Most businesses
actually LOSE money in acquiring a new client. In other words,
they make less money on the initial sign up than it cost to make
the initial sale or click thru or whatever in the first place, assuming the client will stays on
and keep taking up your offers. Example: BUT...just like this report you have to give something really worthwhile to a visitor to make them become an active buyer, you have to write to them with a compelling offer, an attention-grabbing HEADLINE - NOT the name of your business...and preferably a strong GUARANTEE. (I'll talk more about guarantees in Step #6.) In other words, you need to use what we call 'SALESMANSHIP IN PRINT' Remember, the true definition of marketing is 'any activity which brings clients to you with a pre-disposition to buy from you alone, at the price you wish to charge.' So, the better your sign up page and following offers, the more response you'll get, and the less you have to sell when you do your Ezine or other communications. Your materials need to be written as if your former client was standing there in front of you, while you gave them your 'pitch', and or information (remember a mix of about 4:1 information to Sales is good). And that's the problem for most Website Owners. After all, you're not trained as marketers or copywriters, are you...nope, mainly you've been trained in the business you are in, which is not necessarily the marketing business. THE CRUCIAL SIGN UP PAGE THAT WILL GET CLIENTS INTO YOUR LIST Nobody, but nobody, actually enjoys sitting down at the keyboard and grinding out Sign up pages or letters to clients. So, over the last five months I have worked hard on getting a sign up page and follow up report structure series designed specifically for small business owners using Websites to get visitors to sign up to their lists. These systems are proven to get back between 3% and 5% of website visits to sign up for a free report. What if you could have that system ?... our 'Sign up Here template' linked to a sequenced report, specifically written for the small business owners right there in your hands, right now? By tomorrow afternoon, you could have the sign up page up on the web. By the afternoon of the following day, you'd be getting sign ups and even some orders from visitors who were delighted and amazed at the offer you've made to join your list. Within ten days, you could have your Ezine in the electronic mail, to those clients who are now in your list ..and a day or two after that, MORE online orders or phone calls from some of those clients, wanting to book a service with you... Well, you can, and you don't even have to purchase the full 20 Page Starter Website to get them, either. Our 20 Page Starter Kit members (small busienss owners who have purchased the Essential Small Business Owner's 20 Page Website Toolkit or the Starter Pack) report a 'Visitor Sign Up' rate of between 3% and 5% when using our special 'Sign Up Here' system. In the Toolkit Starter Pack, you'll find a proven sign up page format and 7 part free report sequence, as well as priceless marketing strategies and techniques for your bussiness. That's in Lesson #4...
Good marketing!
